Dr. Michael Olin grew up in Vancouver, Washington. He
attended the University of Washington and went on to
graduate from the University of Oregon Dental School
in 1971. He served three years in Germany for the
Army after Dental School, and then moved to Bend in
1974 to start private practice.
He has been married to his wife (Gloria) for 42 years. They have two grown
and married children (Jill & Brandon), and two
grandsons. Dr. Olin enjoys skiing, biking, wood working, traveling
and cuddling with his dog, Phoebe!
Dr. Mehdi Salari was born in Tehran, Iran and moved
with his family to America in 1977. He graduated
from the University of Utah in 1989 with a B.S. in
Medical Biology. He then graduated from the Oregon
Health Sciences University School of Dentistry in
1993. He moved to Bend in 1993 to join Dr. Olin's
practice.
He has been married to his wife (Jennifer) for 10 years. They have three
young children (Kenzie, Drew & Trevor).
Dr. Salari enjoys soccer, tennis, spending time in
the woods, writing, playing cards and making fun of
Dr. Olin's dog.
Dr. Karen Coe attended the University of Washington and earned a BS
degree in Pharmacy. She graduated Northwestern University Dental School in 1985. That same year, she
married Michael Coe who is currently a practicing
Orthopedic Hand Surgeon at the Center for
Orthopedics and Neurosurgery in Bend. Karen practiced in several cities as
Michael pursued his orthopedic training; including Chicago, Charlottesville and Seattle. She
joined Skyline Dental in 1998 and practiced until
2002, when she decided to devote full time to her
family. Dr. Coe has returned to part-time
practice in 2008. She has been married to Michael
for 24 years. They have 3 children; Erica, Lauren
and Ryan. Dr. Coe enjoys skiing, biking, and
traveling.
Dr. Zack Porter
grew up in Roseburg, Oregon. After graduating High
School he moved to Bend, Oregon and ski raced for
Mount Bachelor. He then attended Oregon State
University, graduated in 2001 and moved back to
Bend.
While living in Bend for the next three years he
worked in Construction, framing and siding homes. In
2004, Dr. Porter moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where
he started his dental education at Marquette
University School of Dentistry. His love of outdoor
activities and climate brought him back to Central
Oregon. In August of 2009, he married Maureen Asp, a
dental school classmate from Wisconsin. Dr.
Porter and his wife enjoy skiing, home improvement
projects, and almost all outdoor activities.

1974: Dr. Olin moved
to Bend and began practicing dentistry.
1979: Dr. Olin moved
the practice to its present location on NE 4th
Street.
1993: Dr. Mehdi
Salari joined the practice as a full-time Dentist.
1998: Dr. Karen Coe
joined the practice as a part-time Dentist.
2000: The practice
was given the name SKYLINE DENTAL, LLC.
2001: Dr. Robert
Henry joined the practice as a part-time Dentist.
2002: Dr. Karen Coe
retired from dentistry to devote more time to her
family.
2002: Dr. Karlie
Gaskins (Mifflin) joined the practice as a full-time Dentist.
2005: Dr. Robert Henry retired after 35
years in dentistry.
2006:
Dr. Gary Dehm joined
the practice as a full-time Dentist.
2008: Drs. Dehm & Gaskins left Skyline
Dental to start their own Dental Practices.
2008: Dr. Karen Coe returned as a
part-time Dentist.
2008: Dr. Zack Porter joined the
practice as a full-time Dentist.
